ChatGPT deleted my account for no reason
I created my account about 2 months ago. Last week (I believe on the 27th January) I received a notification saying that my account would be deleted today if I didn't verify my age. So, I went through the process of verifying my age and I sent them a picture of my passport. It took a few tries due to bad lighting but, after a while, the picture got accepted and openAI told me I had finished the verification process. Today, I woke up receiving an email saying that my account got deleted. I sent two different emails: one to openAI and one to the support team of openAI. Both emails were responded by bots telling me that if I thought they had made a mistake regarding the deactivation of my account, I should go to the help section on the OpenAI website to try to fix it. That is a big fat lie. If you go there, you can't directly ask them a question but can only click on a prompt regarding the most asked questions. And guess what? There are no prompts regarding your account being unjustly deactivated. They don't have a phone number so there's no one from the support team that I can call. Despite all that, they still have my ID information. This company now has my personal data and yet they still deleted my account. This is incredibly outrageous
