PSA: Weekly Mega Threads Discussing Shortages and Generic Meds

Hi everyone

After the poll and check-in with you all earlier this week, the poll results showed support of having dedicated mega threads for the above two subjects.

We are going to trial the implementation of the following:

• A weekly mega thread to discuss concerns around medication shortages.
• A weekly mega thread to discuss generic vs brand medications.

Going forward, any stand-alone posts about generic vs. brand or about medication shortages will be removed and you will be signposted and encouraged to participate to the most recent weekly megathread instead.

The purpose of doing this is to:

• have a dedicated space for the two most common subjects, therefore helping restore a bit of balance to the other types of discussion being held within the sub.
• Make it easy for members to read through past discussions relating to either subject where common questions may already be answered. I'll add flair to each post so that - over time - people can navigate previous threads/archives.

Please report to mods any instances where people are offering to sell you medication or sharing shady websites/instagram profiles/anything dealer-ish.

I'll set the weekly mega threads to go live each Monday morning.
