" With you I don't feel frustrated " what does that mean/implie ?
A bit of context, we ( 50ish yo), met 2 months ago, through an app, and so far the relation is really good, we see each other multiple times a week, share activities, began to meet each others friends.
We were then intimate for some weeks, and all seems great on this plan too.
I kind of forced my naturel to be more communicative about our sex needs, wants and pleasure , to avoid my silences and passive acceptance of not so great sex in past relationships , so since the begining with him I both asked "Was that good ?Did you enjoy that?..." and expressed "I prefer that, please try this ..." . And that's leading us to improvements.
As for him, he at first expressed some discomfort on that , saying "words could be traitors"; but finally he joined in the topic and expressed himself more and more.
So far so good, but yesterday after sex, we were nicely sharing our well being , and out of the blue he stated " With you , I never leave frustrated ".
I expressed surprise, didn't understand and he ran back : " You see, words can be traitors " and I was left on that.
My question is what can means or implies this strange statement.
I must admit it touches in me an inner fear of not being capable of being really loved but rather been appreciated for company, sex, or my caring personality.
Please send me inlights if you have an idea of what he was meaning, I'm a little lost and taken aback by it.
Thank you in advance
