Used GX8/85/9 or EM5iii?

I'm looking for a compact setup (under 800g) for my mother as a gift, and I intend to pair the body with either Olympus 14-150mm ii or Panasonic 14-140mm ii.

I'm leaning towards Panasonic for the dual IS as she's not as strong as before and every bit of stabilization will be nice.

However Panasonic hasn't released any compact bodies in a long time, so I'm wondering if I would get better performance from Olympus bodies. Using DPReview's image comparison, I see the EM5iii being slightly better than the GX9 in terms of noise performance, but the 14-150 doesn't have sync IS or OIS which is more effective on the long end.

Or I could get a Sony RX100vii but the ergonomics aren't as good as an ILC even though it's the lightest of the bunch.

I personally shoot on Sony so I did consider an a6xxx series, but the lenses would be bigger, and stabilization is never one of Sony's strengths.
