Am I The Jerk for not helping my bus driver?

OK so some background info (12F) was the first one on the bus and last on off the bus, so i was on the bus for 3 hours. A year before this happened my bus driver quit so over the next two years we had sub drivers and they all didn't know where the other kids lived and one of the sub's told me i HAD to help her even after I said I didn't know the route ether because it was the being of the new school year. she yelled " HEY YOU! ITS YOUR JOB TO KNOW THE ROUTE AND HELP ME AND NOT BE ON YOUR PHONE OR SLEEPING!" on may i remind you that i wake up at 5:20 when school starts at 7:50 so i'm already half asleep when i get on the bus so i'm too tired to fight with her so i pull out my phone and look on Google maps to help her. This happened for a few days of me helping in the mornings and afternoons until she finally learned the route and i could go back to sleeping in the mornings and playing on my phone in the afternoons. it was all good till she got put on another bus and guess what she passed the word that i could/would help with the route! so i had to help or they would guilt trip me in to helping, most of the people i helped would listen to me because i found the shortest routes all but one he said that he wants to go by the paper(they do give a paper to do the routes but its the long way(3h) as i found short cuts(2-2.5h)) so he followed the paper and we had no problems for now. but at the beginning of the next year i got sick but not sick enough to stay home, so i said i couldn't help him with the new route, also i didn't know the new route and so i put my foot down when he tried to guilt trip me. A while later we got a new sub and was a teacher she , she was really nice and she even paid me for my time, but at first she was surprised that i helped her and when i asked"why didn't you think i would help?" and what she said pissed me off"well (the bus driver who i said no to helping because i was sick and didn't know the route) said that you would not help the sub drivers". but we got a new bus driver for our bus finally, so i showed her the route and i was done with teaching the route after she learned the route(she also gave me the nick name of 'route keeper'.

so and i the jerk for not helping the bus driver?
