Better place

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am “

A river clear as crystal flows, Walls of jewels, streets of gold.

No more need, for sun or moon. No more pain and no more doom.

A place of peace, before the throne. A place for us, to call our own.

I won’t cry, cause you’re not gone. You didn’t leave, you just went home.

(Oh, I know you’re in a better place. Oh, I know you’re in a better place.)

A place of rest, for troubled souls. A place where fields, of flowers grow.

Where war an hate, is never shown. Where we’ll never be alone.

A place that never fades away, A place that time cannot degrade.

A place to live in every day, But in this place, we’ll never age.

(Oh, I know you’re in a better place. Oh, I know you’re in a better place.)
