Are there any REALLY good 40k games?

I've bought a few of the games and I'm very disappointed by the quality. I know this won't make me popular here, but I'm starting to feel like people play 40k games because they simply like the tabletop and flavor of the universe.

Now I'm not a big gamer and only buy the most critically acclaimed titles. Am I going to be forever disappointed if I'm comparing 40k games to something like elden ring? DOW 1 and 2 were alright but man... mechanicus is HORRIBLE. How is this a top 3 ranked game?

Should I even bother buying other games or will it be downhill since these are the top 3 ranked? And I will admit DOW 2 was actually really good. But that's also said to be the best game in the entire franchise which makes me doubtful going forward.
