Restarting my life by exiting my current relationship
I'll try to make this short as possible.
I'm turning 30 this year, she;s 34, and we've been in a relationship for 7 years now. We got together when we were young, in our early 20s. Back then, I didn't really have a clear direction in life, and neither did my partner. But over time, we both grew, personally and professionally.
Along the way, as I started to become a better person, discovering values that make sense to me, become financial independent, and so on, I realized that I no longer see a future with her. The only thing that we're aligned is our goal to financial values and travel - that's all. But the way she want to settle in life, is not.
We've had about 3 or 4 breakups during our time together. Each time, I thought we were making progress, but now I see that we're just not compatible in the long run. All the past fights, all the names she called me, bad things about my family, and so on, feel like a heavy weight I'm carrying that's why I'm starting to feel that I want to restart my life by exploring my on my own, and with someone new.
Time is the most valuable thing we have, and I don't want to waste it. I don't want to reach our 50s or 60s and realize that we're not right for each other. I've been thinking for more than a year that I want to end the relationship.
As of now, we're okay but it feels I'm sugar coating this underlying thought of mine. We're currently living together but feels like we're best friends.
TL;DR: I'm no longer happy with the relationship because I don't see a future with her anymore. All the fights that I still recall, because of how they made me feel, seem like a burden. I want to restart my life by ending the relationship.
