Murders at Karlov Manor, looking for advice on strategy and combinations.

Hello All,

I decided to get the MaKM bundle they had available until Feb 6 and have a pretty good foundation of those cards and want to build a MaKM deck. Ive gone through my plunder and understand what the cards do but Im not seeing good enough value generators and combos to create a competitive deck. A lot of the detective cards are pretty meh...am I missing something? Whats the strategy here? Whats a good build-around or combo that can get help me started?

Thanks for the help.
