Who or what is Eury? Some speculation

Disclaimers: She's only been on my island a few days, so some or all of what I'm about to say may be proved wrong lol. I'll try to spoiler what I can

First off - she's not a normal human. >!Shelby says he's looking forward to more magic on the island, then clarifies she's not a witch but has a spark to her. Wesley also says she's smells different!<

Second - her favourite foods. >!Four of them have ties with the American south. The 5th is Greek!<

So I think she's >!a gorgon!<

!One of the gorgons in Greek mythology was called Euryale. One of the original descriptions of the two immortal gorgon sisters (Euryale and Stheno - Medusa was mortal) describes their hair as snake-like, which could be applied to some hair styles.!< As an aside, there is >!another character in Greek myth whose name starts with Eury - Eurydice, but she doesn't fit at all!<
