Child support Fl

Hello all .

My Medicaid will be shut off by the end of the month due to child support sanction. Received notice and filed on 2/12. Had a lot of issues and I couldn’t apply over the phone .

Baby’s father abandoned us on 1/12/24. Child support said the sent it over Monday but Dcf is telling me they don’t have it and for me to be patient and to stop calling .

Would I be able to go to the child support office get the paperwork and bring it to DCF?

I don’t understand why it can take 3 weeks I can’t have my benefits taken away .

There’s a sanction because I never filed child support as his father lived with us but didn’t work . He received food stamps as well as Medicaid .

Me and my son receive Medicaid . I’m just worried I won’t be able to go to my doctors and get my meds .

Any advice ?

Thank you .
