Best discount gear?

I’ve had my skis since I was in middle school, I’m about to turn 24 😅 they’re beat to high hell because my family were just casual skiers and didn’t know you needed to regularly maintain your skis, and they weren’t stored the best for a few years. The only new gear I’ve bought since I was in middle school is new jackets and pants as I grew, but honestly even the ones I have now aren’t the best. I’m looking to buy a whole new setup during the offseason hoping to catch some decent sales, only problem is I’m a new parent without a ton of disposable income and I know ski setups are not cheap. What are some “cheaper” but still good brands? I’m willing to spend a little extra money for gear that will last me a long time, I just don’t wanna buy $1000 skis if there’s equally good ones for half the price from a different brand/website. Also what are some really good insulated coats/pants/gloves? I’m anemic and swear it takes like 10 minutes for me to go numb on the mountain
