(F4A) Synthetic love

You look at the large screen in front of the desk, looking to the research assistant again, “So… what do I-“ they cut you off with a sigh, speaking like they’ve explained it to a dozen different testers.

“The computer is an experimental artificial intelligence, using quantum computing and neural impulse mapping.” They explain from their memorised script. “Your goal is to interact with it, and see how human you ‘feel’ it is.” They say slowly, handing you a stack of papers, “For taking notes. Please remember that your interactions may be monitored for research purposes.” And with that they left you alone.

You slowly sit at the desk, looking over to the screen taking up the entire opposite wall, before it flickers on, showing a room identical to the one you’re in, and a woman in a white jumpsuit sitting behind the desk. “Oh, hello~ are you here to talk to me?”
