Struggling with endgame

I’m at what I presume the final area Bramis Castle,

and I just can’t get along with it, it’s pissing me off.

Firstly its just repeat enemies but with massively buffed damage and hp, yet they still drop an absolutey shite amount of ‘souls’

At some point in the game I decided to switch to heavy weapons but now that seems like a mistake because nothing here seems to get stunned and all my actions take too long that I just get killed during it. Like I did one attack to a ruiner the special attack with dual grand axes, and he just did two swings during that attack and I was dead.

i feel like I just need to go grind and play somewhere else for a bit.

I actually just want this game to be over now these last few areas have been doing nout but pissing me off.

Though I will say the areas are stunning looking, especially the abbey.
