What's the best way to advertise my subreddit?

Hello everyone. I've just created a new subreddit as of yesterday called r/petdonos

But I'm not too sure how to advertise it to get people to join. I thought maybe the ideal and most obvious way would be, finding a subreddit that is meant for advertising your own one, but I didn't really find any. I have yet to make posts on my subreddit and I know Reddit did say that creating my own posts can also attract some members to my community.

I'll work on that not long after I complete this post, but is there anything else I can do?? I have high hopes for my subreddit and I want it to have the best start possible.
