New music

What the hell happened to the Ataris?? I used to absolutely love the band. Blue Skies end is forever and Astoria were amazing albums. The angst coupled with great music was phenomenal. Then when all souls day and graveyard of the Atlantic released I was hyped for what the future could bring.

Many years later and we've had practically nothing. I asked Kris at a solo gig years ago, when we could expect to have a new album. His response was that he has so many songs written it's just getting time to record them. I think that's BS.

So fellow redditors, can anyone tell me, why the hell we have had zero new music since Kris lost his hair, many years ago??
