Why the actual fuck am I fighting champions nearly every ranked match?

I'm in fucking copper lobbies, yet i haven't had a single match that wasn't against 5 stacks over emerald, with at least one of them having a champ charm/background. And my teammates seem like they've just bought the game. Fuck you, Ubisoft. You've absolutely ruined this game.
