Anyone else going through a long distance break up right now?

My LDR ex broke up with me 5 weeks ago, and yesterday I told him if he doesn’t want to work on getting back together I need to go no contact. He said he can’t be in a relationship right now, the distance is hard, he’s been unhappy for awhile (in life and in our relationship). I’m so fucking heartbroken, I loved him more than I’ve ever loved a boyfriend before. We didn’t start off long distance but it became inevitable because he was only in my country temporarily. After an in person visit in the summer everything just changed and I still don’t understand what happened. Anyone else going through something similar?

*Please no comments like “he probably found someone else”, totally unhelpful and painful right now, I have no evidence that’s what happened.
