Multiple backup strategies possible on ProxMox?

I'm trying to setup two different backup strategies for my ProxMox LXCs/VMs. Here is the situation that I'm trying to resolve...

I've a VM that have two (qcow2) HDDs - a small one (8 GB) with OS and basic settings, and a 2nd large (2 TB) HDD with data/content. The settings change quite frequently and hence I take a daily backup of the small HDD on PBS (ProxMox Backup Server). I also want to backup the large HDD but only once a week. I can easily setup two different backup plans in the Backup section of the Datacenter view of ProxMox, having a daily and weekly backup timings. However, here comes the issue - there is no way to select/deselect the HDDs on the backup settings. I can only specify whether to backup a HDD on the Resources tab of VM settings and hence I can either choose to backup or ignore a particular HDD.

What I'm looking for is a way to backup only 1 HDD for daily backups and both the HDDs for weekly backups. Is there a way to achieve this?
