Intermittent abdominal pain over a week that has moved

Female, 27, 5’4” 130lbs. Medications are Venlafaxine ER 112.5mg and an Albuterol inhaler for asthma. Vitamins for general women’s health and an iron supplement. Seen by OBGYN recently who confirmed no abnormalities.

Last Sunday I had a bout of nausea that turned into abdominal pain. I thought it was gas pain, did a lot of laying on my side and massaging my abdomen for the next few days.

Went to the urgent care and then ER on Wednesday thinking it was appendicitis, as the pain was localized on the right side of my bellybutton and I felt very tender in that area. CT and ultrasound ruled out appendicitis and gallbladder problems, got sent home with nausea meds. Bloodwork and urinalysis were done with nothing terribly unusual.

Pain was minimal on Friday and Saturday, though I still had nausea and noticed my appetite was very decreased (but I forced myself to eat).

Today, entire lower abdomen is constantly aching and crampy, with pains going up my right quadrant to the base of my ribs. Some pain in the lower left quadrant. Still nauseous. Pain increased after a normal appearing bowel movement. Pain also increases while standing, less so when curled up in a ball on the couch.

Not sure if I should go back to the ER or continue to tough it out. I was supposed to cook with some friends today, but the idea of being on my feet sounds awful. I don’t have a PCP at the moment, and everywhere is booked so far out…
