Severe aggravation of my acne using Epiduo for 4 weeks and 3 days.

I've been using Epiduo (2,5% benzoyle peroxyde/0,3% adapalene) for 4 weeks and 3 days (to the day) every evening on my chin and forehead.

I'm noticing a worsening of my acne. In 3 years of dealing with acne, I've never seen my skin deteriorate this much. I've been extremely self-conscious since starting this treatment 4 weeks ago, and I don't know what to do anymore...

Epiduo was prescribed by my general practitioner at my request. I'm not seeing a dermatologist because none are accepting new patients within a 100-kilometer radius of my location for the next 6 months...
