Galapagos island hopping- is it worth the $$?

We are traveling to the Galapagos in June and I am trying to decide if island hopping is worth it. We are flying in and out ofl Santa Cruz. We will be there for 8 days. Is it worth spending time and $$ on another island like Isabella? We will have fly to Isabella as don’t think we can handle the rough seas. If we are going to see the same animals does going to another island just for a few days make sense?
