Anyone else in need of being more social/online community

There's a lot of posts in this subreddit about wanting to stay social while WFH - how many people are in need of more friendships or getting out of the house. For personal reasons I'm not always in the mood to see people in person or don't always have a friend to hang out with so I found an online game-playing community that has really helped and been a fun experience.

A few days ago there was a post asking about how to stay social while WFH and I mentioned the discord community I'm a part of. I got more than a few people interested so I figured I'd share it in hopes of reaching more people that are in need of a community or who maybe just want to casually play games online with a fun group of people.

There's multiple game sessions a week on a platform the admins created. Card games, board games, strategy games, etc.. You make it to the game sessions you can and stay for as long as you'd like. There are people from the US and outside US so there's times available for different time zones.

The other huge positive is that everyone is vetted in the community by a quick informal 3-5 minute video call with an admin. This way we all know it's a safe community with no spam - it's suuuper chill compared to other online communities I have tried.
