Michgan tax question - paying after amendment
After submitting my 2023 return 2 weeks ago I caught that I had a 1099 from some investment income that I hadn't given much thought about until it showed up in the mail a few days after I filed. I finally got around to amending my Michigan income taxes and I owe a few hundred of my refund back due to overpayment. My eFile amendment was accepted this morning. When I go to the MI Dept of treasury payment page it doesn't show an amount, will it ever show an amount or do I just pay what my filing software says to pay?
TL;DR Does the treasury website ever show what you owe or can you just pay it preemptively based on the amended return amount owed value?
