Can't figure out how to change the RAM speed

Hi all, I'm having trouble trying to change the RAM speed in my build. Its currently stuck at 2133mhz, I've tried the DOCP setting in the BIOS but my PC just goes into a sort boot loopoop. (shuts on and off before taking me back to the bios to revert the settings) I've also updated the BIOS to the latest version and retried the above, but still no luck. I'd love for some help on how to solve this or even some insight on why I can't change the speed. Thank you in advance! :D
