Stop listing your restomod bikes on FB and Craigslist for $1,000. Building old bikes up into fun machines is a reward in itself, and expecting to make back what you put into them is silly. Working on bikes will always be a net $$$ loss, even moreso when they are weird. Doesn't mean it's not fun! Just ask any LBS owner.
