How to make this forum more like the old Actscelerate.com

Welcome to our new home on Reddit!

Reddit has several advantages over our old phpBB system, and I think each of you will find it more enjoyable to use than the old board once you get used to it. The change can be a bit jarring, however, so please find below some tips to make Reddit feel a lot more like our "old home."

First, know that Reddit was started with an interface that more closely resembled our old interface. A few years ago, the site "updated" the interface to make it feel more like a modern social media site. However, in my opinion, it makes the site way more clunky. There are two main ways to enjoy the cleaner format that is closer to what you are used to.

The first way is to always use http://old.reddit.com instead of reddit.com. This will automatically bring you to the old style of interface. It is also where actscelerate.com automatically redirects you.

The second way is to tell Reddit that you do not want to use the old interface in your preferences.

1. First, click preferences in the top right hand corner of the page.
2. Then scroll to the bottom where you will see beta options.
3. The box next to Use new Reddit as my default experience is ticked by default. Untick it.
4. Click the Save options button.
