Sometimes I think a person's physical appearance is a sign of how much luck they have.

I don't know how many people on this sub are atheist or believe in higher powers. But I sometimes wonder if some people are just born lucky. Like the moment they are born, things just always seem to work out for them.

Do you know people like this? The first person they date in college is the person they fall in love with and end up marrying. They start a business idea, it always works out and generates some profit. They enter a contest (maybe a cake eating contest or something random like that), and it's guaranteed that they'll be in the top 3 even though they have no prior experience with that.

When I hear about people like this, I think that they are gifted with luck. Because they are going against the basic rules of how probability works.

So if someone is born good looking, that's a sign that they are gifted with luck. That was their first win. And vice versa if you are ugly.

And I think a good way to test this theory is to look at lottery winners. Like the people who win million dollar lotteries. And see if there is a pattern amongst them. Are the majority of them good looking or ugly? Note: You cannot factor in details like bodyweight because most of the times that is a self created problem. Really look at their facial features and see if they are born good looking or ugly.

I tried this experiment but it turns out that most lottery winners are anonymous lol. They don't go around publicly anouncing themselves.
