I wish Syndicate was Longer!

// Discussion

Syndicate was an awesome game, and I think that it is maybe a little bit underrated. Yes, the enemy ai looks a bit repetitive, but the atmosphere was awesome with variable weather and time of day changes. The side content was actually fun and not just achievement unlock for the sake of achievement unlock. The fighting felt like a Batman Arkham game which I actually liked. Maybe it was a little too comic-like but overall it was fun. A fully-fledged traffic system and the grapple hook were also big feats for an AC game. This game took the beauty of Unity and made it serviceable and fun. Also, the Jake the Ripper DLC was the first AC DLC I played, and WOW! it only made me want to play more Syndicate-related content.

I wish they went back to this engine or at least the overall immersive style. The maps don't need to be huge to be immersive. Actually, now that I think of it mid-sized maps usually offer the best of both worlds: convenience and beauty of scale. Syndicate knocks that out of the park for me. Simple story, clear villainous villain that looks like the Wb.B Mason dude, I'm in. Might need to replay because The nostralgia of talking about it makes me say this was a solid 8.5/10
