Moving to Seattle

Hi! I got into UW for graduate school and will be moving to Seattle from Atlanta. I’d love some help figuring out what neighborhoods might be a good fit. I’m planning on visiting to tour apartments and then will be moving shortly thereafter. I’d love to have some general locations narrowed down for my search!

I’m 24 (f) and will be moving with my boyfriend (28). We would like to be able to walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc.

I’ve done my own research, but it seems that everyone has their own take on what “walkable” means. I’d also really love to have a bodybuilding gym within 10ish minutes of where I live (reachable by public transit and/or car—I’m not picky w this one!)
