Advice on first time Fight Caves gear?

I'm finally getting around to something I've been putting off for too long. The main things I'm uncertain about are the Holy Wrench and the Blood Spell gear. Would it be better to just bring more potions instead? Should I swap some of the food/potions for some Brews + restores? Should I swap for Barrows Gloves? Any advice would be appreciated. Wish me luck!
