reincarnation terrifies me

i had a pretty abusive childhood but other than that i’ve been blessed with a life where all my needs are met and i have everything i need to go on to live a fairly happy life. however the thought of reincarnating scares me bc what if i have a life where i’m physically tortured, what if i have a life where i’m constantly in pain because there isn’t any food to eat, etc etc. if reincarnation is real then that means i’m not safe from ANYTHING in this world. any circumstance i can think of will probably happen to me. and im really really scared of that
