Confused with the current tech stack markets and want to switch.

I’m based out of Mumbai and have been working with C# & .Net core since past 2.5 years, and my current company is my second company but due to low pay grade, I’m thinking to switch to an Investment banking firms like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs or likewise.

But now the problem is, every fintech is majorly working on Java and related framework like spring or spring boot and I don’t find any openings for C# or .Net.

Also its rare to find an MNC that pays well for C# and .Net. (around 14 - 18 LPA) with my current experience.

So, I’ve made up my mind to switch my tech stack to Java and Spring boot.

Is it a fair decision? I’m still in dilemma as I wont be having any major benefit of my previous experience and need to start again.

P.S. I’m very fascinated about fintechs and eagerly want to join one.
