Unintentionally made my gf cry

Last night my gfs mom texted her a scathing message stating that she was angry over a house sitting incident and I know for a fact it's my fault I had convinced my gf to leave her mom's home early and go sleep in our own bed and now one text message had my gf crying all night because of me i can't help but feel like a walking talking fuck up that's twice I feel I've created a rift between the two and I need to do better as a man and boyfriend. Granted I dislike her mother but I refuse to stand between them and a healthy relationship I just need to remember and find more ways to be less selfish.
