wanting to abolish capitalism is irrantional.
abolishing capitalism is the most immoral and irrational thing a human can do since capitalism is someone being the private owner of land and using that land for some form of profit. To live in a society where collective ownership is a thing will mean private ownership is also exists and to deny someone their rights unless its under collective ownership is immoral and wrong. This is how so many socialist dictatorships ended up being totalitarian because they told people what they could or couldn't do with the lands they owned and anyone who dared to even attempt capitalism was murdered.
This is the end result of socialism because it can not co-operate with capitalism and still exist like capitalism can with collective ownership. I see so many leftists fall for marx's godawful analysis of who defines capitalists as he only says rich businessmen or corporations are the capitalists while ignoring all the other working classes individuals who were owned land to profit off of it like farmers or kulaks as they were called.
If you want to critique capitalism fine but to want socialism to take over capitalism would mean people can't privately own land for profit as individuals or the abolishment of capitalism is irrational and immoral. I have a feeling that leftists don't actually have a problem with capitalism but rather the rich who are capitalists though buy power from the government who use it to abuse workers and individuals in our society.
also if you want collective ownership but no private property then you just want the or a state to take over the economy. the workers (or any group) are not a collective but instead they are individuals who make up a group and so they would need private property to properly own the means of production to choose who can and can't join as it would be in any business.
