Are noise-cancelling headphones dangerous?

I have a pair of noise-cancelling headphones (that don’t have sound or anything, it’s just the headphones) that I wear almost 24/7 including when I sleep. Is this harmful in any way, as they’re pretty tight on my head? I’ve noticed an odd and concerning sensation in my right ear recently and I don’t know if it’s related to this
