Former Marine Infantry, currently in the Guard and plan to stay. Can I file for issues from USMC?

20 years ago I did a combat deployment to Iraq. I filed for hearing loss about 10 years ago and have 10% for that but I went back in and now serve in the Guard. I plan to stay until I'm forced out, can't do it anymore, or turn 60 because I love what I do. But there are a few issues I still have from my time with the Corps. My understanding is that I can't file for any LODs I have from my time with the Guard until I'm 180 days from separating, but can I file for things from my previous time with the Marines while I'm still in the Guard? Or do I need to wait until 180 days out? Of note, these are not issues that would keep me from serving or deploying and I've never stretched the truth on any of my PHAs nor will I ever do so.
