London Marathon: Train Strikes

As an FYI, ASLEF have decided to target the London Marathon this year by striking on the Saturday of the event - the day many runners travel to the mandatory Expo to collect their bib numbers.

This action is likely to stop the majority of trains on the East Coast Main Line under LNER.

I'm sharing this as I wasn't aware that strikes were planned for this day until I received an email from LNER to say my train was likely to be affected.
