Cs2 still feels terrible, any tips?

So i’ve tried basically every ”tweak” there is but nothing seems to help the problem at all. My cs runs at 290-400 fps and i have a 240hz monitor, but the game feels literally like 100fps. I was curious and tested to change the refresh rate from settings to 120hz, and the game felt exactly the same as it does when it’s set to 240hz, it just feel so laggy. I have checked sys_info command and the game says it’s running at 240hz but it’s obviously not. Even when i tried gsync, microstutters all the time and as i said, the game feels laggy. Any tips or tricks or do we really have to wait for more performance updates?
