Semi permanent and swimming

I've had a look on here and ive seen a range of answers from itll leak or its fine if you put conditioner in it.

For context i have semi permanent red hair dye by the brand crazy colourwhich i use on my hair. I dyed it on Monday or Tuesday (its now thursday and i wont be going swimming till sunday at latest)

I have looked into hair caps but find i get headaches from them and i really dont like the feeling. I was wondering if its really okay if i go into the pool after i wash my hair and it runs clear? Do i need to put conditioner in? After all ive read i cant seem to find any certainty of what method is or isnt going to work.

Please could i have some help? I really dont want to turn the pool red lol
