Newbie at networking, need some help with bridging.

First off, I'd just like to know if this is possible. I am currently using a linksys e2000, connected to my cables modem. I have a spare netgear rangemax wpn824 v3. My computer is currently using a wireless NIC, but my connection is pretty lousy due to distance. I've heard of this thing called bridging, but it all goes over my head. Basically, could I use my netgear rangemax wpn824 v3 as a bridge with my linksys e2000? Second off, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to accomplish this, assuming it is all possible? I really suck when it comes to networking, and could really use the help. Thanks!
