1660 calories?

Currently at 200.2 down from 235, I use MyFitnessPal and it says I should shoot for 1660 calories to reach my goal of 180 lbs. I get my food in the form of: protein shakes, chicken, steak, fish, simple potatoes, and vegetables. The problem is, I work out 6 days a week, Cardio for 40-60 minutes everyday, and lifting different muscles every day but sunday. If the treadmill says I burned 500 calories, I'll add that to my deficit for the day so I end up eating more than 1660. But doesn't 1660 calories seem low for a guy my size at 6'1"? Also, if I get 150-200g of protein a day, you think I'll still build muscle with this deficit?

Thanks alot guys, I don't want to be working against myself wasting my time working out everyday if my nutrient level isn't high enough to handle it.

*EDIT

  • I'm trying to quit smoking and can't run for very long so I thought I would pack on the cardio. (Also thought a 5k or triathlon or something would be a cool summer goal, I've never done one.)

  • 6'"` is a typo.

  • I've adjusted MFP to "Sedimentary" level, and changed my goal from 2lbs/week to 1lb/week which now it suggests 1930 calories. I'm going to bump that up to around 2200-2400/day and not add in any cardio calories burned into MFP.

side note: Thanks for all the amazing advice
