[Idea] Interesting gem sink

So far the only gem sink in this game is the recipe that returns a res ring or onxy ammy. I don't feel this is good enough, and have a feeling not a lot of people use this recipe considering the amount of res rings and ammys available already at vendors.

Adding a recipe "5 gems = random new one" seems to be a favorite but I was thinking of taking a different approach that could kill birds with one stone.

as it is right now on SC, I'm not sure what it is but either exalts are very valuable or chaos are really cheap. It's like 35 chaos for 1 exalt now up from 15 chaos less than a month ago. Where is all these chaos orbs coming from? Probably the new vendor recipe. While GGG seemed to nerf it, you can still get 2 chaos orbs for a random set of unid rares, they just need to be ilvl 60+ With more and more people getting to those higher level areas, sure there is going to be more of an influx in chaos orbs.

Currently there are no chaos orb recipes. So I thought it would be interesting to add a new orb and call it something like "diamond cutters prism". This is something similar to a GCP however when it adds quality to a gem (this is where the game changes) instead of adding for example... 0.5% attack speed to double strike, it adds a random stat from a selected list for that certain gem. Lets say double strike could roll with 3% critical damage, 3% critical chance, or 5% physical damage per percentage. These can be found or sold at vendors for like 3 chaos. Making more of a demand for chaos.

So this is where the gem sink comes in. If you end up using, lets say... 10 diamond cutters on a double strike and get 9% critical chance, 12% critical damage and 15% extra physical, when you really wanted 30% critical chance, you can just sell the gem and get a diamond cutter prism back (3 diamond cutters for 20% maybe) and start the process all over again until you get your perfect gem.

So you see there is going to be a need for skill gems because of constant rerolling. Also, only gems found in cruel and merci to avoid "gem quest farming"
