This might be a weird question, but can someone give me a rundown of how this worked in my favor?

I tend to be a bit cocky and playful. With everyone. A lot of people think I am an asshole until they get to know me. But more than anything I do not like doing things people tell me to do. Ill do things people ASK me to do, but tell me and I get annoyed.

I was working one night, and this cute girl came in really late, like 2am. We talked for like 45 minutes and when she said she better go home and sleep, I got her number. Fast forward a few days and we are at the mall (I choose the mall because A. You can meet there easily and B. There are a lot of small coffee shops and froyo places and such in the mall.)

We clicked at the coffee shop, so we started talking and walking through the mall while 'shopping' We are in macys and its dead and she grabs my hand and brings me to the corner and says 'Kiss me". She started going for it and I put my hand up so that she kissed my hand. She looked confused and I whispered in her ear 'I don't like when girls tell me what to do' but with a smile in it to show I am just joking around

She seemed shocked. But then a few minutes later I kissed her at a better location then macys (water fountain).

Pretty much, I did it for 2 reasons. I dont like being told what to do, and also because I like that shit to be spontaneous. At least spontaneous for her. Telling me to kiss her isn't special.
