Steamworks Question

I'm thinking of hosting a small gathering for my friends and I at the Gastown Steamworks, but I'm not sure what to make of it. Some people I know say it's mediocre, others say it's great. It's got a 77% rating on Urbanspoon, but mostly the reviews are from out-of-towners.

So tell me, Redditors of Vancouver: Is Steamworks a good place for a dinner out with a group of friends?
