To all you GUI guys/gals, what side should the X, for closing apps, be on?

I'm dying to get a general idea of people's preferences from a nerdy crowd of people like me, who have perhaps been on computers which have had the X on different sides. Since I basically just want to do a poll, I'll comment "right" and "left" and you guys can just upvote which one you prefer, and considering I can't stop you, downvote the other one, if you really feel like it's just bad, otherwise leave the other alone if you don't care that much. I'll also give the "no preference" option. Also, comment on why you choose your side; if you grew up with a computer that had it on one side, and you think you've been trained and are biased, or if you think it's just the logical place.
