Fantasy exchange results: unhappy, free giveaway.

So I am a pretty hardcore r/fantasy subscriber. I love reading new novels, especially Youth Fiction, and that's what I specified in my redditgifts profile. So I received this as my fantasy exchange gift, and I'm confused as to what part of my description led the gifter to think that this would have been a good idea.

I mentioned that:

• I would prefer a novel
• I don't like comic books or illustrated books
• I don't like elves and dwarves
• If you don't have a novel in mind, I would like a $5 unpainted fantasy miniature.

So I'm not really sure how I ended up with an illustrated guide to the characters in Tolkien, let alone one with such low reviews. Oh well. If anybody wants it just pm me and it's yours.
