[GEAR] 1968 Silverface Bassman

Hi guys. I'm buying a '68 Silverface Bassman soon, and I just want to check that the price is about right. The tag price was $425, most of which will be covered by a guitar that I'm trading in. Is that price too much? Should I attempt to talk them down? I am kind of a preferred customer, so that may be a possibility.

Anyway, I still plan to go through with the purchase, because I really did like the amp. I just think I'll be more likely to try modding it, I suppose. I don't have any problems with it, and the bandwagoners who say that this will be nowhere near as good as an earlier model don't really bother me because the ease of mod-ability is retained.
