Dark Souls 2: Shoddy Performance Edition [PS3]
It has been stated by From that this time the game will be developed with the PC as a base and adapted to work on the consoles instead of vice versa.
Why is this bad? The PS3's architectures is very different than that of the average PC because of it's use of the Cell processor. The Xbox version will likely be fine because internally it is basically just a standardized PC.
Think there's nothing to worry about? If hope so. But Skyrim is an example of a game that was developed for PC/Xbox first and PS3 second. We all know how that turned out. This game would have been a day-1 buy for me but now that I know this information about it's development, I'm going to have to wait until other people have tried it and commented on the performance.
