How come when I am using Facebook Messenger for my iPhone, I appear with a green dot on someone else's computer instead of a phone?

I'm looking at someone else's computer, and even though I am logged in to Facebook messenger, I am appearing on their Facebookftom their computer with a green dot.

Shouldn't it be a phone next to my name, not a dot?
